Aku Terima

Alhamdulillah, passed a month I'm working in an event and promotion company at PJ, after three months of unemployment, even it is just a 'small' position, I'm being positives, I take it as a springboard. Well at least I have a job. Tak ada lah melangok je dekat rumah. I took only few days to adapt to my working environment and the staffs. All the staffs are very friendly, and funny, some are very funny.

A week after I started working there, I got a job offer from media monitoring company at Kuchai Lama and they want me to start immediately or they will open the vacancy to other candidates. Dilemma happen. Even they offer better salary, the working environment and work place at my current work place are much better. So I take initiative to ask ayah's opinion and ayah advice me to stay with my current job cause it is better in term of career development. No other reason but just in term of career development.

Well actually, yeah, I'm quite jealous with my friends who earn better income and job than me. What can I do, decision has been made, I'm not in computer science area anymore. However, the journey should be continued, no turning back. All I need to do is work hard, get a promotion and/or bring the experience to get a better job (...and salary Haha!)

Friday, 15th July, end of internship period. Bullied by the staffs included my supervisor, force me to sing before going out for lunch. They said every internship student had to sing at the final day of internship. At the first place, I refused to sing. Yela, malu/segan kot! But then they keep on forcing me + everybody is hungry and staff yang baik-baik, jujur, tak penah sakat orang pun suruh nyanyi and cerita semua intern kene myanyi. So the boss google the lyrics of Kenangan Terindah. nyanyi la half of the chorus. Habis je, everyone laughing and Arshad (my best buddy dekat tempat internahip tu) laugh out loud and said, "kau orang pertama yang nyanyi doh!!"
I was like fffff maannnn... But whatever, asalkan diorang happy. Arahad gonna miss me. Takde la cerita bola tiap-tiap hari. Teman untuk lunch. Main sakat-sakat. kau sakat Sabrina je la ye Arshad.

So, end of my internship period. Relieve! Saturday, 16 June, I went o Sungai Gabai with Manulife staffs. Alan and his officemate. Ada la kenal 3-5 orang, yang peginye lebih 10 orang. Tapi diorang best. Friendly, buat aku rasa tak kekok. Had a loooooott of fun there. BBQ, games, mandi sungai. Every Wednesday night pun main badminton dengan diorang, tu yang kenal beberapa tu. so balik, sampai rumah dalam pukil 730pm. Rushing nak pegi wedding Gbum dekat Zam Zam Restaurant. Total, I spent 16 hours hari tu.

Back to the future

Sangat nervous dengan future aku. Kawan-kawan ada yang dah mula start apply kerja. Aku masih terpinga-pinga. Kerja apa yang bolrh buat atau yang sesuai dengan aku. Kadang-kadang orang kata, pilih dengan apa yang kita minat. Tak semua benda yang kita minat kita boleh buat kan? Bagi aku, baik aku cari kerja yang aku boleh buat. Walaupun tak minat, bila boleh buat, benda tu akan jadi minat. Ni bagi diri aku la. Sekarang aku blur. Takde arah tuju heih. Yang ada dalam kepala otak aku, July ni Arsenal datang Malaysia. Defenitely going!
But then, aku kalau boleh nak start kerja bulan Julu. Tak nak tangguh-tangguh. Nanti siapa nak tanggung. Ingat duit tu macam daun, boleh petik je. Hmm. Gitu la ceritanya. Waasalam...

UA

instead of being placed at TV department, or more specific at Stargetic Planning Unit (SPU) temporarily, I've been offered to stay there permanently.. yeah, within my internship period la.  Diserap ke diresap ke kerja terus dekat situ nanti tak tahu la. but then, I is 'yeay' la sebab daripada stay dekat radio department tu, macam bisu ala-ala cikgu disiplin tengah jaga class tu, dekat tv department ada suara sikit. tv dipasang 24-7, dengan Kak Anis and Arshad masuk airnya, bercerita siap gaya, siap bagi contoh, joking sampai pecah perut. Walaaupun SPU team yang lain semua macam skem skem je. tarik spender baru tau *ayat arshad bengang dengan nerd* lol. Kalau lunch, lunch dengan Arshad, sejam, sejam tu lah dia bercerita je. bukak satu topic je, sejam mulut tak henti.

but then, ada skali tu, dia buka la topic pasal kerjaya. walaupun dia masih muda, walaupun tua jugak la dari aku, dia lebih berpengalaman la berbanding aku yang pengalamannya hanya mendengar cerita orang je. So, dia cerita time dia kerja dengan agency, dengan UA. Aku ok je dengan UA, but Arshad slightly tak prefer la aku stay situ. Gaji ok, OOOK eh. tapi dia pakai Forter plak. Tapi aku tahu, maybe gaji situ ok or ciput skit sebab ada senior yang intern situ dulu penah kena offer situ jugak. but then, it's all up to me la kan. aaand.. up to UA jugak la nak serap aku ke tak. And lagi satu Arshad cakap, kerja UA nanti kita jadi malas. sebab kerja relax. sama juga macam Kak Siti cakap, "siti kerja relax, sebelum ni Kak Siti keja Astro...heeergh!".

Selama aku di UA ni, aku buat circular je. 'Circular' tu apa ya? circular tu lebih kurang macam poster, mempunya keterangan serba sedikit pasal program/rancangan tv di RTM, dimana UA akan menjual ad space/time dekat client kan, so kerja aku, buat lah poster tu, with details rancangan tu pukul berapa, rating berapa etc. supaya client senang nak cari program mane yang sesuai dengan target audience diorang or rancangan yang mempunyai viewers yang tinggi. ha gitu la.

Aku dah cuak, kalau aku buat circular je sepanjang internship aku, nanti aku nak kerja apa kalau tak diserap UA. Maka, as been inform, akan stay dekat SPU tu, so boss pun explain la. Time temporary dekat SPU tu, aku macam touch n go je, so dia just bagi sikit-sikit je, tak sempat nak belajar banyak. so as akan stay lebih lama, baru la dia akan plan lain untuk ajar kerja-kerja lain. But then, dia TAK AKAN  bagi aku buat marketing, call client, jumpa client etc. sebab aku ni pendiam. Hah! aku kata dah aku pendiam, hangpa dak pecaya! haa..

So, hoping that 'kerja' yang akan 'diajar' nanti akan bagi benefit untuk future aku nanti.
